    Rose Levy Berenbaum writes detailed recipes with volume and weight measurements. Her instructions explain not only what to do, but why the methods make sense. Recipes span the range from cakes, batter breads, yeast breads to pies. If you want to master technique and bake something really delicious, this book is for you

    Great Book!

    This is a great book! I like good cookbooks, but this is one that teaches you about the cooking process as well as providing good recipes. I just ordered the "Cake Bible" by the same author. Can't wait for it to get here.
