A Great Ribbon Mic
This mic sounds fantastic. It has depth, detail, and a lower noise floor than some ribbons I own. The low end is much more balanced than a lot of the modern ribbons that try to emulate the classics, and I find it easier to find the sweet spot because of it. If I had an issue, it's the permanently attached cable. Not a deal breaker, but makes storage even more challenging and I'm already running out of space.

love my r84 so far for everything I've used it on.. Vocals, guitar amp and acoustic guitar sounded great!👍 definitely worth the price I payed plus some
