Good shaver
Charges pretty quickly, it does give you smooth glide across your skin. The turbo boost is pretty neat too. The only complaint I have is where the on off button is located. It is very easy to accidentally hit it when you are shaving and it cuts off. The contour of the handle and where the button is in my opinion isn't ideal. I actually have to shave with it backwards to keep from hitting it as I shave my head. No, no and NO!
As a veteran user of Norelco since 2005, they are NOT getting better; they are far "worser." I'll stick to my 2013 PT730 and just resharpen the blades as I've been doing. Haven't had to buy any new blades in years thanks to resharpening the heads. The shave is FAR superior to this supposedly "new" 6500. It is just "clickbait" to buy a new one. It stinks. This 6500 is uncomfortable, pulls at whiskers and is terrible around the chin; just flat out underperforms. Yes it's nice to charge in an hour, but that's not worth the discomfort and having to change heads for the trimmer. Just a poor design and OVERPRICED version of a much better machine from previous years. I refused to pay the $90 retail and only paid $39 on eBay about 18 months ago. New product, great features.

OK but not good enough
The shaver works very well. It does not work as well as my norelco shaver that is one piece. It does work better than the inexpensive norelco shaver I bought to put in travel case a few years ago. I will use this shaver in my travel case and continue to use my deluxe norelco daily. I do object to having to take the head off to put the clipper on. This gives a nice close shave and the power boost function makes faster work of shaving my neck. While it does come with a trimmer attachment you do have to remove the shaver head and switch over. Great ladies shaver
Works well on a woman's legs. Quick and easy to use. Once in a while it will bite behind my knees, but that is my only complaint. Charges fast and is easy to hold and control. I had tried electric shavers with one straight head and they didn't work well. The Phillips triple head has slits around the shaver heads that allow for leg hair to get in and cut. Lightweight and has great features.

Norelco 6500 good for round face
The Norelco 6500 shaver works well if you have a round face but for my long face the older 7345 models are better. The reason is the glides around the shaver head on the 6500 are so big it is difficult to get close to sideburns and nose. I also feel the built-in clipper is better as I daily use this feature on sideburns and mustache. Having to remove the head and install the clipper is a big pain. As for the cut and durability I think Philips electric razors are awesome. The only reason I'm replacing my 7345xl is my battery, after approximately 20 years of daily use, is getting weak. Easy to grip and gives you a masterful shave
I've had several different electric razors in my lifetime but this one is the absolute best. I get a good close shave every time with this razor. It's quick to charge and it lasts a long time after charging. The body is shaped to take your hand in an easy way and the three heads do a fantastic job of cutting even the hardiest hairs close to the skin. Norelco 6540 better than ever!
I have been using nore.co triple headers for over 30 years and this 6540 is the best one yet. These open box items are a great value for a superior shaving system. I highly recommend these open box items as they are about 40% of a brand new item and dare you to see any evidence of previous use. The closeness of the shave is beyond compare!
