A period drama that will make you laugh, cry, and fall in love!
This is an excellent period drama mini-series about Molly Gibson's coming-of-age story. She must adapt to her father's remarriage and the integration of a step-mother and step-sister into her home. She must deal with loss and love, while being the unwanted bearer of two scandalous secrets. Wives and Daughters - good but not as good as some Period Dramas
I enjoyed watching but would not say it is as good as the other books Elizabeth Gaskell. Still, I did not regreat purchasing. But, the absolute best of her books/movies and my favorite of ALL movies is North and South (England's North and South - not America. It's a beutiful love story. Two thumbs waaay up!
