LR Baggs M80 pickup was an easy install on a Taylor 314 CE with an ES1 pickup. drill out the hole that the old jack plugged into, to 1/2 inch. take out the old jack hardware and slide in the new pickup jack from the inside. great pickup for many different applications
I received the LR Baggs M80 as described as an open-box item but had no problems with it whatsoever. Installation process is simple and straight forward. Sound is very "acoustic" for a magnetic pickup and body resonance is picked up just as good as with any piezo. This pickup is way less prone to feedback than mic pickups or piezos and is ideal for working well with effects like distortion. Very recommendable pickup and shop. Shipping went fast.
