Scholarly, well written history of the historical Jesus.
Morton Smith was one of the leading Religious Scholars of his generation. Using translations of papyri (many that he translated himself) he has traced the actual origins of the Christian Religion through this in depth evaluation of the historical Jesus. Scholarly yet unbelievably readable.. Evangelical Fundamentalists will LOVE this book....it arms the Fundamentalist with the answers to every argument they'll need to fight Satan! Highly recommended.
