Good quality sound and pleasing to listen to
The recording is clear and the sound bright. It has obviously been remastered from the original recordings. It is great to hear this music again on my 1970 JBL 1200 speakers. My only quibble is the packaging. The cd sleeves are black, with type written titles and song list. The song list is tiny and hard to read. So maybe they had trouble getting the original artwork they could have made some effort to make it look better. It reminded me of Spinal Tap when their manager brought them an all black album cover.

2 for 1, I wanted them both
Although the beautiful artwork from the LPs is not included, the beautiful music of the two great albums is here in full. Since being reminded of this music some months ago, I have purchased 2 CDs and an unsealed LP, and listened numerous times. It's remarkable how music that made an impression 50 years ago still sounds so engaging today.

Great buy, good quality recordings...
Excellent compilation of two albums by this group. Music quality is great and this is a great buy even though the artwork is missing due to copyrights.

It's a Beautiful Day - It's a Beautiful Day / Marrying Maiden 2 CD Set is worth its fair price.
Remastered and sounds better then the original. NOS CD in original plastic wrap shipped carefully and on time.

Rare first recordings of ‘60s era Bay Area group
Hard to find first two albums of Bay Area ‘60s group is a revelation. Unfortunately the beautiful original album art is not included for copyright reasons. But the music is rendered in high quality with excellent liner notes.

All you need to know.
I was a bit skeptical at first viewing this offering, but I took the plunge and I'm very glad I did. Both releases by this group in one package-sounding better than I remembered and bringing back a ton of memories ! The only lacking is the original artwork...explained on the C/D case,but other than that, rate me as being quite pleased. My thanksto all.

It is a beautiful day to listen to these two classic albums!
I was hesitant to purchase this CD set because of the lack of the original cover art, but the price was a really good value so I did. It's worth every penny I paid for it! Also the package arrived in a timely manner during the holidays,. Thanks!

Double the value in music
No cover art, because of Copyright/trademark restrictions. So who needs cover art? Two of the greatest albums by this group in one package!
