Product Information

The Draytek Vigor V2830N is a fast wireless router that is equipped with three MIMO technology antennas, which provide large coverage area and great resilience to interference. The Draytek wireless N router has four port Gigabit Ethernet LAN switches and triple WAN ports that could be used for cable modems, ADSL and 3G simultaneously. This wireless router uses the high-speed 802.11n internet access point and thus the maximum connection speed extends up to 300 Mbps. The security of the Draytek Vigor V2830N is ensured by WPA, WPA2, and WEP encryptions and V3 firewall and a guest connection can be also set up without sharing the network password. The Draytek wireless N router also makes use of content filtering and the modem can be programmed to restrict access to internet at certain times of day when necessary. Wireless printing is also made possible on the Draytek Vigor V2830N as there are ports for printers, 3G USB modems, and Logs.

    Chair came in perfect condition as described! Very happy with what I paid for it, currently sitting in it and it's like a dream. Also even though it was a collection item, due to being close they kindly delivered it themselves and was even wrapped in protective packaging despite the short distance. Communication was excellent!

    It's a Draytek, what do you expect!

    I love Draytek routers! Robust security, good Wi-Fi signal strength and pattern, reliable for months on end (mine has been off once in 3 years because I moved it when I decorated) without intervention, low power consumption, huge number of features and extremely flexible. In my opinion, they beat the living hell out of every other ISP supplied router, especially the BT supplied rubbish. BT say they have the most powerful Wi-Fi signal? Really? If they believe that, then they should broadcast a live comparison with a Draytek. The Draytek will win, hands down, every single time. I'm a professional IT person and I use nothing else for me and my business (and have done since 2002) and ALL of my clients use Draytek routers and that's for a reason. There are none better - in my opinion ...

    Good router, but no local DNS when DHCP enabled

    First, from examining the box I thought I was buying a dual-band router, but in fact it is single band - it appears that DrayTek have been selling both dual-band and single-band routers in boxes marked 'Dual Band', which, in the UK, is a clear breach of advertising rules. Also, when the DHCP server is enabled to provide IP addresses on the LAN, there is no corresponding DNS server present to manage machine names on the LAN. Apart from these points, this is an excellent router. However, the failures above are not what one would expect from a company with the reputation of DrayTek.

    Good Router sale

    Draytek Routers are a Great Product all though is a ADSL +2 Modem Router it still has many good uses like VPN and Firewall LTE

    Great router (needs modem for fiber)

    I've used my existing router as a modem then using all of the feature rich options of the draytek for a fraction of the cost of the fiber compatible draytek devices.
