Cannot be without Rob, my iRobot Roomba 960! A terrific Model! Love him! Lightweight w/Great Features!
God, I love this thing. We named it Rob! Rob does an amazing job on our wall-to-wall wood floors! Better than house cleaners do because he goes over and over the floor until he runs out of battery. I am so happy to have Rob! He makes my life so much easier than running the stick vacuum or the plugin vacuum. I just push his button and off he goes cleaning his little heart out! The Cons would be that I have a thick area rug in the living room he really can't clean, but that doesn't really bother me. When we use Rob, I feel impelled to pick up all the chairs and move them so he can go around them easily and I pick up all the rugs, I just make sure to move everything so it's easy for him to do a great job. We have 3 dogs so there is a lot of hair and dust and he gets it all. He actually goes around each chair and table leg and sweeps off any lint or hair off the bottom of each leg!! He's amazing!

Great little vacuum
Roomba works as described. Sends out messages such as completed vacuum, time it took and shows diagram where it cleaned. Shows when the bin is full (its full after each vacuum) . Overall it does a great job cleaning the floors and after a few mire trials I will try out the programming to see if it will work. Now for the things to keep in mind, it does have trouble cleaning around the stone fireplace because it’s not a smooth wall. Cords seam to be an issue, to small and it gets tangled and to big it gets stuck. The edge of the throw rugs seem to be an issue for it because it only has one edge brush so it goes the opposite direction it doesn’t clean very well. Being refurbished I found one part attached wrong and after taking it apart I was able to correct the part before it became a problem.

"Fair cleaning job, OK just not spectacular"
Easy to start, one push button. Goes off its base and starts to vacuum. I would give one huge warning though. Before you let it go off to do its job, YOU BETTER GET EVERYTHING OFF THE FLOORS, which includes ALL extension electrical cords, including table lamp cords, TV electrical cords, computer connections. I almost lost my favorite table lamp. It was a good thing I followed the thing doing its job because it grabbed and started to pull my lamp off the table, if I wasn't looking. WOW !. Get all area rugs off the floor as well. To cut to the quick there should be "nothing" on the floors in all rooms before you start it. I noticed the next day after this unit cleaned my house, light dust swirls all over the house in the morning sun light on the floors, which I believe was caused by the rotating side brush, that with inadequate suction.

960 Fit my needs perfectly.
I decided to purchase a used Roomba instead of a new one with pricing in mind and chose the 960 for the following reasons: - VSLAM Navigation instead of random spiral bump-n-go - Ability to return to base, recharge, and continue when the battery is low - Alexa/Smarthome/Smartphone integration - Did not need the self-emptying feature of new models - My home is all hardwood floors so I did not need the 980's Carpet Boost

Consuelo: my new robot vacuum!
This robot vacuum is simply the best purchase I’ve made in YEARS! Keeps my apartment clean, it does not make that much noise, and the phone app is great and user friendly. As a matter of fact, the wifi pairing part was so easy to complete. The only thing I’ve noticed is that it takes it a while to dock into the charging station. Overall, I couldn’t be happier. My sweeping-the-floor days are OVER!

Excellent vacuum
I have about 1800 sq ft hardwood floor home and a German Shepard whose hair gets everywhere. This vacuum works great and I like the charge and resume feature when it runs out of battery. Could a lower model have worked as well? Probably. But this one has no drawbacks to me.

Great, with exceptions
Cleans great. Better than expected. Took 3 cleanings to learn the house. Cleans 1700 square feet in approx 3 hours (includes 1 hour recharge time). Wish it would clean house with one charge. Tip: leave all your lights on in the house otherwise it will stop mid-clean and not finish without manual intervention.

Product review
Product arrived on ahead of schedule and in good condition however app integration proved difficult and less than seamless Navigation / object avoidance is poor but performs acceptable well when not obstructed. Suction power is good enough for me, however it’s lack of ability to save maps is certainly a minus Overall I will rate it a 4 if you’re looking for a decent and reliable workhorse for a decent price , however if you’re like me and prefer more advanced feature such better navigation , no go zones and saved map layouts then this is not the product for you.

Happy Vacuuming!
Fast and easy to set up, (charge first) right out of the box. Quick start instructions and operators manual on line. App was easy to obtain and set up with WiFi, because phone is great way to set cleaning times and commands. Vacuum does a nice job (amount of dirt in bin) and we vacuumed by hand weekly.(a day or two before trying Roomba) Very happy with purchase and full two year warranty also. The first time out was very interesting to watch, but after a few times of use the robot does not miss a spot. Removing obstacles helps the cleaning and mapping process. Robot returns to charging station for a charge and continues on its way...to return to charging station when job is complete. Can't wait till they bring out the model that cooks meals....

Great lazy person's product
The Roomba does an excellent job of vacuuming our entire home. It gets areas that I do not get with an upright vacuum. If the entire cleaning cycle has not been cleaned and the battery is low I like the feature that it docks itself for a charge then completes the cycle. Also, it is very quiet.
