Stingray
Nick Mancuso, plays Ray, also known as Stringray. Ray drives a 1965 Chevrolet Corvette, with black glass, except for the windshied. When you are in trouble, and have no where to turn, there is Ray, who can help. Early on, you think he is a rogue CIA operative, then later as the shows progress, you begin to wonder, because even the feds, don't know who this guy is! In one show you see Robert Vaughn (magnificent Seven, Man from UNCLE) admit, he created Ray. Ray travels, around the country, advertising his 1965 Chevrolet corvette, will barter for the price. As ray helps someone to right a wrong, murder, extortion, blackmail...Ray does not take cash, for what he does, instead, it is bartering, one day, he will need a favor, and no matter what it is, you must say yes. Women, love Ray, men despise Ray...and everyone in need of his epertise, admire him! You slowly learn about his past--a mysterious one, but that is what makes the show unique! Stephen J. Cannell, made this show unique, undaunted, and entertaining. When one part ends, you cant wait to see the conclusion...When you watch this show, and as the show ends, you see that for 52 minutes, you were glued to the show, While Ray held you there, captivated, by what was happening, what he learns...from crooked police officers, to crooked governors, all the way to a corporate leader who thinks he can do as he pleases...no one escapes Ray, and Justice. The early stars of the 1980s, whom you saw on Magnum pi, Simon and Simon also star in Stingray...Robyn Douglass (Star Trek The search for Spock), Kathleen Lloyd (Magnum pi), Erin Gray (Magnum pi, Simon and Simon)...

Great, good oke days series.
One of the best series I have watched from the good old days. I liike films that have normal male female relations and are intriging. This has the perfect blend of who done it and mysterious secret agent scenarios for a guy and his gal to enjoy. The car shoukd have been used more, but who would wantvto deliberately ruin a true USA icon.

It was nice to revisit an old favorite
The Stingray DVD Set came brand new and Im impressed.... The series Stingray was an excellent series and should have been on the air more seasons. Its an excellent program created by Legendary Producer Steven J Cannel and stars Nick Mancuso in one of his finest roles.

Underappreciated and underrated
Stingray is a underappreciated and underrated 80s show in the PI/action/ mystery genre. Its a good hero story a out a man whose past is shrouded in mystery, helping others, as he finds his place and contends with his past and future. Shows like this, Wolf, Spenser for hire, and to a lesser degree, Remington steele, Matt Houston, and Hart to Hart, were classic hero stories that were replaced by the rash of police shows (CSI, NCIS, Law and order, criminal minds, and all of their iterations). Shows like Stingray will be missed, but luckily we have access to them in DVD/ blue ray/etc.. Oh, did I mention his car? Its the icing on the cake.... Enjoy

Only fun if you are a car guy or gal.
Quality is very good. I watched this show when it was originally broadcast. The show itself is average, the characters average, and the plots weak. Why did I watch it? The Corvette, of course. Don't see enough of it tho.

The title is accurate.
The condition of the DVD case is fine . I am only about four episodes into it. So far it is great. No complaints.

Stingray
Basically I love this show ever since I was a kid! The quality of the DVDs were magnificent! The show itself is just completely entertaining and action-packed!

They don't make they like that any more
Long lost series from Stephen J. Cannell productions, the basis of the show is timeless and the car is a classic.

I'm looking forward to a "Stingray" marathon.
I saw a few episodes . . . some years ago. Finally did some research to remember the name of the series. I'm looking forward to a "Stingray" marathon.
