It's a Beast
This is an absolute beast. My neighbor with a pneumatic impact wrench had to spray the bolts on the rear tire of my truck to remove the lug nuts. I had to take off a front tire with my Dewalt and the longest it had to hammer before loosening a nut was under 3 seconds. Most of the lug nuts backed off immediately. I am old and with the arthritis in my hands it is hard to use conventional tools even with a cheater bar. It would have taken me about 20 minutes to get the lug nuts with a tire tool but only took about 3 minutes to remove all the lugs. With a little more practice I can probably cut that time in half. I absolutely love the fact this has multiple speeds as it will protect me from tightening the lugs too tight. This is my first tool with a hog ring instead of a detent pin and it took about 10 minutes to figure out how to put the socket on the gun. That is the only problem I had with it. This was what I needed to remove the wheel bearing attachment bolts on my vehicle (sealed hub unit). The impact wrench is extremely powerful. This also means it is very heavy, which all of them are that provide this much torque. I bought a 3 amp hour battery to power the unit as it is smaller and lighter that the ones with more amp hours ratings. Good Tool, best value, specs are accurate
I always buy Dewalt power, Max cordless tools. I recently moved and my half-inch bowling impact wrench somehow came up missing.
