Looks genuine.. Excellent value!
I recently purchased Yamaha AVR-2700 in great condition and good price. Needless to say that caliberation mic was missing. I ordered this mic mainly to set equalizer curve because setting speaker levels, distances and size is not rocket science to me. After running Auto caliberation, the amp recognised that front and rear speakers have wrong polarity, subwoofer is placed at 9ft (although it is same distance as front speakers at 13ft). Analysed all speakers as Full range Large speakers, although I am using bookshelf speakers. Although this is a list of cockups by mic or Amp but nothing I can not fix myself. What went well is equalizer curve setup.. dialogue is more clear and my JBLs sing... but then Yam2700 is an excellent Amp. Looking at individual speaker equalizer curves, rear speakers gain for higher frequencies is increased which makes sense because my high sofa nack blocks sound from rear speakers. Dialogue has become more crisp and clear. Levels are adjusted to give a more immersive all around surround experience. I do think that I will play around with settings and equalizer to make it sound perfect but I havd a good starting point .. thanks to this Caliberation Mic.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Original Yamaha calibration mic
Works creat. I Have an RX-V2700 with KEF Q400 front speakers, iq30 presence speaker and KEF q6 Center channel with a Paradim 10 in woofer. After calibration the movies sound great. Lord of the Rings epic sound. I should had bought a mic a long time ago.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

The Perfect Replacement
I found this factory replacement WN649600 Calibration Microphone for my used Yamaha RX-V765 and it works perfectly......AND I didn't have to pay a small fortune to get it. (beware of sellers out there offering $15 parts for $60). Very satisfied.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Yamaha calibration microphone
I had a heck of a time trying to balance my speakers before I got this. I did as instructed put this mic right in the center of the room equal distance from each speaker plugged it in hit the install it calibrated each speaker perfectly. I was finished in 10 minutes. Yamaha Intelli-Beam microphone optimizer
