ELO still sounds great live after all these years in the great outdoor atmosphere of Hyde Park.
This has quickly become one of my very favorite DVD concerts. The sound quality is excellent and captures the orchestra with many camera shots. Play it loud and it is almost like being there in person.

Jeff is ELO, and ELO is Jeff.
Have been an ELO fan since way-back when I bought "Face the Music" when it first came out. "Evil Woman" blew me away. You can definitely hear a strong Beatles influence in Jeff's music. Love the concert, interview and the "Blue Sky" documentary. That alone is priceless with all the behind-the-scenes shots and interviews with Macca, Ringo, Tom Petty, Big O along with family members and closw friends (Joe Walsh). One disapointment is the recording quality. I would have expected a higher quality - DTS, for this concert. With that said, the concert is exceptional. Wish I could have been there in person. Hoping we'll get to see and hear more from this GREAT musician. I certainly do recommend this DVD as a GREAT addition to any music lovers collection.

Fantastic sound.
Lynne's new versions with the BBC Concert Orchestra taking the place of the original two cellos and one violin are remarkable. This live concert recording from Hyde park has studio sound quality.

Wonderful Concert!!!
If you love ELO you will love this concert.It's very clear and crisp,it's almost like sitting in the front seat at their concert.A small fraction of the cost of a front seat ticket (1499.00 in August of 2018 in Philly)to rich for me.I have been a fan since 1977.Saw them in concert in 78 they blew me away!!!This video is worth every penny!!!!!

ELO LIVE IN HYDE PARK
Great DVD, I never got to see them live in the past & nowadays concerts are SKY HIGH, so this is my new way to see fave bands!!! Fast shipper & great quality. THNX, Tina W. (Tx)

ELO AT HYDE PARK
This DVD is of Jeff Lynne and The Electric Light Orchestra playing a limited number of their hits in a live concert in London's Hyde park. Mr. Lynne even throws in a little ditty from his days with The Traveling Willburrys. As far as live concerts are concerned, this is a good one. The tall leggy blonde who plays the violin is extreme eye candy , and can REALLY play the violin. I've seen other recorded performances by ELO, and this effort is worthy of a look at.I just hope that this is the prequel to a 2015 tour withe the onset release of " Alone in the Universe" release.

Amazing concert!!
This concert by Jeff Lynne's ELO is fantastic! Jeff Lynne has put together excellent musicians and the songs sound like the originals. If you love ELO's songs, you'll love this concert!

Jeff Lynne - national treasure
As a lifelong Jeff Lynne/ELO fan, I was thrilled last year when he consented to do the Hyde Park Concert. I couldn't attend, but I must have watched it 100 times on the Internet. I also had seen Mr. Blue Sky: The Story of Jeff Lynne and ELO several times. So I knew what I was getting when I ordered the DVD, but I was surprised at the cost. What a value! Jeff's music is so beautiful and timeless, and his voice is still amazing. The BBC Orchestra, Take That, Richard Tandy, and the rest of the band were true to the original sound of ELO. This DVD is just excellent in every respect.

All around great concert dvd.
This is an excellent concert. The sound is great. It's very entertaining. I enjoy it very much. I highly recommend it to any Jeff Lynne/ELO fan.
