ReviewsThe first thing I noticed about this book is that it is spiral bound, and so has been produced with the intention that it can be used for reference whilst sewing. It is packed full of information and designs, containing 16 all over quilting patterns that are broken down to create 155 different block, sashing and border designs. Each one is clearly illustrated, so even a beginner can learn how to approach a simple block, and fill it with what looks like a complex quilting design. This is a book I would buy not only for beginners, but for friends with more quilting experience as it both informs and inspires you to try new things in your approach to free-motion quilting, The dedication sums up the book nicely by saying, 'To everyone who has ever looked at a quilt top and wondered where to begin.' If you are considering free=motion quilting then this is an ideal book to add to your sewing library.
