Best viewed in DVD format
This is an interesting and nostalgic movie. I have a DVD copy. Due to the enhanced resolution of the blu-ray version, faces appear grainy and over-saturated, giving them a strange, almost powdery appearance. IMO, the resolution is excessive for a bw movie produced with 50s technology.

The Monolith Monsters (Blu-Ray)
First off the quality of the Blu-ray is excellent. A late 50's black-and-white sci-fi film about the remnants of an ancient meteorite that reacts to water by expanding and infecting life forms by turning them to stone. Takes place in the desert, but one goof about that is that even though the desert is arid it does rain on rare occasions. If this space rock has been in the desert for hundreds, if not thousands, of years why suddenly now does it show its deadly properties. It's nice to see a sci-fi film with a monster that is a believable natural object. Highly recommended.

Classic Horror/Sci-Fi
A fun cheesy 1960's era Horror/Sci-Fi movie I remember seeing it a long time back and still a fun watch if your looking for some old school movies to watch and not a ton of gore and blood like more recent horror movies.
