Good tool. Would buy again.
So far I have used this tool to trace 3 circuits, and I got the right breaker all 3 times. I plan to use it more, as my breaker panel is not labeled well. I really like it, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it. There are cheaper tools that are supposed to do the same thing, but I didn't want to risk buying a tool for half the price, and then be disappointed. This model has a 'positive' on/off button. I read that an earlier model, the ET300, had a 'hair trigger' on/off button. This ET310 does not have that problem. I don't know that it makes any difference, but the 3 circuits I traced so far were light switches. I used a 'homemade' adapter using a 3-prong to 2-prong adapter and a piece of small extension cord with the female plug end and alligator clips on the other end. I can't speak as to how long it will last, as I have only had it a short time. Yea, it works.
Used it 3 times already. Once had a slightly confusing signal when I connected it to a single line of a 208v circuit, but still found it on first try. It is so safe because once power is shut off to the breaker you are plugged into, it will stop signal immediately because the transmitter is instantly deprived of power. Make tracing easier.
First of all I was skeptical on this item after reading up on some reviews, some says it works great some says it doesn’t, I went ahead and purchased one to see for myself if it works as it should or not, I immediately put it to a test with numerous outlets around the house, our house is 3 stories and the circuit breaker is in the garage, I tested one outlet from all 3 floors and the test worked out great for me, knowing where I put the transmitter and what circuit breaker to put the receiver on, it does pinpoint the correct circuit breaker.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Easy to find correct breakers
Finally an easy way to trace which electrical breaker feeds which electrical outlet! The days of shouting, hey honey did the light go off, are in the past with this tracer! I recommend that you purchase the adapter kit if you want to trace light switches as well.
