Excellent Quality And Excellent Show!
I have fond memories watching The Love Boat at my grandparent's house every Saturday night after a fun and exhausting day. The show is very uplifting and I think many of today's shows could be more that way. The cast compliment each other nicely and every guest is always so likable, even if they make huge mistakes. Who doesn't find the conversations in the moonlight with the sea glittering in the background attractive? It's romantic, but on a level that both sexes can agree on because it never gets too fluffy, just the right balance of character development. I'm male and I cry watching some episodes because the stories are rather touching, especially when they focus on the death of a loved one or runaway fathers. So it's a huge misconception that the show avoided dark issues. Definitely one of my favorite comedy shows and the charm of The Love Boat has no equal (don't even bother pulling up The Next Wave, it may share the same title, but it's very forgettable). Rest assured, the episodes are well restored and seem as fresh as when they first aired. So get on board and toss some confetti, you'll be glad you did.

Great show
My fondest childhood memories are of this show along with fantasy island. Golden age of tv from 1977-84, love boat and fantasy island on ABC 8-9pm sat. Love boat dealt with the romantic complications of couples. For me, it was the stars I wanted to see. In my case, Karen Valentine was the main reason. She was on several episodes. This one she plays a gun moll with a blonde wig, which is like putting mustache on the Mona Lisa. Highly recommend

The best days
I have really enjoyed, I binge watch. Felt like a day after school in the 80’s. And it help that DVD was in great condition. Thank you
