A REALLY BAD INVESTMENT
As anything that is Makita a superb quality made radio, cute looking, light weight, excellent sound and perfect size. Nevertheless when you add up the radio plus the battery plus the battery charger you end up with a more than one hundred dollars radio, For what you want it is a lot of money and you could get a lot better radio for a fraction of that money. On the other hand Makita continues to make a different charger for each tool and when you realize you have one dozen of them, having to sort which one is with each tool and lost used space and a truck load of money invested in batteries charger. Still Learning
Was very disappointed that Makita had two different types of batteries . I found out after ordering a drill that required 12 volt not the 18 volt that I have but after spending another $75 for 12 volt batteries and a charger I see the advantages of the 12 volt system .
