The Alpha we’ve wanted
Upgraded from the A7Rii and it is night and day. I’m thoroughly disappointed it does not have S-Log in. Idea mode but the stills capabilities are spectacular. Sony nailed the autofocus system with this one. I’d miss shots left and right on my Rii and would have to keep my Nikon D4 for those types of action shoots but now I strictly use my A9. Sony A9 is King
I love Sony A9, switched from Canon 5D IV. High speed focus monster!
Very fast accurate focus, I love the digital shutter vs the clunky mechanical shutter. coming from the a99ii this is a big win. A dream coming true
Finally the prices are coming down and I could justify buying a pre-owned one. I am using the A9 with a Sony GM 100-400 for bird photography and the results are amazing. The electronic shutter with 20 FPS is mind blowing and the tracking superior. No complaints at all.
