Jim Starlin's initial story arc that introduced Thanos to the Marvel Universe
Contains Jim Starlin's 1973-74 10 issue run on Captain Marvel plus Starlin drawn/penned crossovers in Iron Man #55 (the first appearance of Thanos), Marvel Feature #12 and 1982's Marvel Graphic Novel #1 The Death of Captain Marvel. This publication chronicles Starlin's early work that helped define Marvel Comics' cosmic setting, featuring the first Thanos War story arc which helps sets up later Starlin arcs (such as the Magus Event, the Rebirth of Thanos, the Infinity Gantlet/War/Crusade/Abyss/Saga).
