Well worth the asking price.
A nicely presented box set with a neat simple arrangement to hold the discs, picture & sound quality are excellent given the age of the series.

Good Quality Drama and Acting
I remember watching this as a child. I don't recall it being so long - 10 discs worth! From the days when the BBC produced top quality drama. I bought this because I took my family to stay in Colditz Castle recently - now a youth hostel. Great to see the events and places we saw when we stayed there.

Colitz, the ultimate 70s version
It is so nice to watch something where people don't say things like 'we was' or 'innit' or 'it was more sunnier'. Joanna David is so elegant and well spoken, and smart. There are so may good stories and plots in this series. Robert Wagner is superb in his part as 'the yank', with his arrogant and vain demeanour, and Bernard Hepton struts like a peacock! The cast is epic, and no modern production could get anywhere near this .

Colditz in another age
It is really good to watch this all over again. Last seen as a child to young to appreciate it 1st time round and my husband has not seen the whole series, trying to encourage him as we both enjoy WW11 stories. Ii have told him it does become intense viewing as it goes on bit slow ar start.

Gripping series told with authenticity.
Excellent scripts, excellent acting, perfect cast. The series was overseen by Pat Reid, himself a Colditz survivor, hence the authenticity. Hard to resist binge-watching!

Still great TV after nearly half a century
Still great tv after nearly half a century. It is only the quality of outdoor TV scenes that haven’t worn so well. Overall gripping as any other good boxsets.

Colditz Box Set.
If you're after non stop action then this isn't for you. But if you want Tension & Drama then you could do a lot worse than this. An excellent TV Series.

Interesting and very well acted true story of the hardships and courage of our brave servicemen during world war 2.
