Gamers play through this cross-country adventure from the perspective of a heroic pup named Jake. Jake is on a journey that leads him through all sorts of locations, from a remote ski resort to bustling cities, all the while at odds with the villainous, dog-hating Miss Peaches. In addition to Jake, players also get a chance to play as dogs of other breeds, each with different abilities and characteristics. Especially notable is the game's "smellovision" system, designed to help players perceive the pastoral game world as a dog really would, picking up on trails and scents invisible to the human eye.<br><br>Hip Games has announced that a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Dog's Life in North America will be donated to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (S.P.C.A.).
