Another great masterpiece for Jane Seymour
Did not like Cathy (Jane Seymour) deserting her sons, I did like her independence and her skills sometimes fighting men. The first 2 discs were very entertaining but the 3rd disc was slow with to much dialogue until Cathy came back on the scene with a tender spot in her heart for her sons. The movie ended not knowing if he would re-unite with her family! I like the movie especially Jane Seymour such a beautiful, talented lady!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Same as the book
Those who viewed the James Dean movie of the same title and found it lacking will find this adaptation much.much better. A couple of things here and there but not much. One of my best purchases

East of Eden.
The movies was suspensful and it's characters stayed within the sequence of the story. From the introduction, we see the parents of the main character. The parents are guiding and protective of their daughter. The Gof-fearing mother began looking for the daughter and find her doing something that would challenge her child's virrue. The mother's punishment was abusive. So, immediately viewers seen the mother as cruel until the daughter actions prove that she is truly something evil. Jane Seymour is a favorite actress of mine and I remember this movie when it first aired. I am so glad to have it in my collection. Great value.
