Garmin Bar Clamp
This particular clamp works with the Garmin etrek vista, I have another garmin unit (Vista CX) that the clamp does not work with as the included back plate is not interchangeable. I use these on my bikes and they do hold the unit on the handlebars, the included back plate clips into the bar holder. As stated use mostly on bikes, works best on road bikes, when riding off road the unit will turn off intermittently, from a web search it appears that people speculate that the bumping, due to terrain, causes a battery disconnect and thus the unit turns off. in a 70 minute ride yesterday the unit turned off three times, a couple days ago I did a road ride for 90 minutes and the unit never turned off. the only CON is that, when attached, the unit has a bit of play and may rattleBestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Check before you order. It doesn't fit most eTrex models.
I won't be able to use it. It turns out that if your eTrex takes an SD card, this won't work. There are many vendors who sell this product but don't warn you of that fact. The one I ordered through simply indicated that it was for the eTrex series. Well, there's no way it will fit an eTrex 10, 20, 30 and newer. You can see that from the picture. What you can't see is that, even though it appears to be that same back cover as, say, an eTrex Legend CX, it won't work on models that take an SD card in the back. So be careful. Durable and fits nice and tight.

Very solid
I was hesitant to buy this because the RAM mounts are so popular, but for the price I didn't have much risk. This mount is awesome and a fraction of the price of the RAM mount.
