GREAT PRODUCT.
This is the best remote i've ever used. I love the fact that they include the button that ejects the dvd from the player and also the teaching function. It was very easy to set up and I got it for a great price. I won't be so quick to scoff at Sony products again, considering that I now own three.

Better than the one it replaced.
I had a "learning" universal remote for several years. When it died, I bought this one. The new one has more features than the old one, it was easy to program and "teach", and it has a better range to the devises than the previous one. I don't use all the buttons, but everything that I need is available on this unit. And it was cheap!

I was able to program 3 of the 4 devices, but could not get the soundbar programmed. I had the exact same remote and had the soundbar programmed. Was

Requires patience and some skill-great tool
I'm not that techie--and this requires some skill and patience--to get all the devices registered and then to relearn a new control--in means of using each device with 1 control. I got this 1/2 way finished--and gotta read more and learn to depend on device--Also can't figure out how to program my Roku stick into this device. I guess maybe not00 Instructions are fine, device works great-

Just as expected
This was to replace an identical "universal" remote that had died (device selection buttons became balky). Even though I knew it was an open box item (and it was), the unit appeared in perfect (i.e., unused) condition — like new. All instructions were included. Wife is delighted and so I am delighted.
