Good umbrella, could use a couple of improvements
This is a solid umbrella, nice and compact, heavy duty. One of the problems is I have with it is that it takes a lot of force to close it and lock it back in place, but that is what you get for the push button opening style. I do like the one hand opening style with a push button. I just wish it was easier to close. Usually, I only have one hand to close it also and you can't really do it with one hand because you have to put so much force on both ends of the umbrella. The other thing I wish it had is wind gussets, because when you are worried about staying out of the sun you are often also out in the wind. I bought this umbrella because it stated it was windproof, but it is not. It is natural for sunlight to create convective wind forces which cause breezes that most umbrellas don't ... You don't want your umbrella getting snatched out of your hand or blowing itself inside out. I doubt the blowing inside out is going to happen so easily because this is a heavy duty umbrella, but it is not when gusseted so it might not work so well for my cruise that I was going to take it on because it is very windy on the ship deck. Overall it is a nice umbrella. If you want to get one like it that is cheaper and has wind gussets, they do sell them online at home Depot for pickup in store, or delivery. Those are only $14.99 or so, and have a lifetime guarantee. They were out of stock, so I purchased this one, and so far I am happy with it for use around town. Also, it has excellent sun protection as advertised. With an everyday umbrella, about 50% of the sunlight still gets through, but this one doesn't let the sun through.

Totally worth it
It is the best investment I've made in an umbrella. It is so small yet so efficient. It fits everywhere and it really does protect from UV rays. I feel it because it creates a kind of shade under it. It's also more resistant to strong wind. If you're tired of the light rays going through your umbrella and of how easily it breaks, this is the one for you.

I like this UV blocker umbrella for the quality. It is light weight, collapsible and small enough to fit in my purse or bag. I use this for sunny and rainy day. Great product

A Winner. Terrific UV Protection Umbrella
The UV Protection Travel Umbrella exceeded my exceptions. Easy to open and close and the umbrella sun coverage provides the protection required for both my 4 year old granddaughter and myself, during the sun-filled summer months. This is a UV Protection Travel Umbrella, that I know you will not be disappointed with. It is a winner. I love it.
