My risk was rewarded
Not a ton of info on these little guys online (especially the T11) so buying if felt like a bit of a gamble. It's been great. Arrived from China in about a week, was well packed and only needed to have the tubes installed. Solid build quality, hefty size and weight. I swapped the main power stage tube for a NOS RCA 12AX7, and it has just sounded lovely. Hum is minimal, and soundstage is present but wide open. Only complaint: included power cord is garbage. Swap that out (it's a super common cord type) and you've got a serious deal on a very solid piece of hifi equipment. An excellent valve phono stage
A very well made product, and performance exceeded my expectations. An unusual feature is to have the phono sockets on the front of the product. I will put sockets on the rear of the product and wire them in parallel with the front sockets. I was very pleased with the much lower level of hum than I had anticipated (with the ground wire properly connected). I had not heard of 6N2 valves (tubes) before, but the only difference is in the heater of the valve. I think that there is probably no noticeable sonic difference between a 6N2 and 12AX7 valve, though I am not going to do exhaustive tests to find out (I have quite a lot of 12AX7 valves, so may do the test in due course just for fun!). The appearance of the product is very nice, and the volume control is great (I have two other ... A very well made product, and performance exceeded my expectations. Astounding value
What you receive for the price is absolutely astounding. If you’ve already invested in a quality turntable, stylus, stereo, and speakers, this pre amp is an excellent choice for upgrading your phono stage from that cheap one. The dynamics are wide open. Fat 350hz punch, solid low end over all. The 2khz range sparkles and really adds clarity. Does Even with the cheap Chinese tubes, the detail and clarity improvement over a value priced phono stage is impressive to say the least. Throw in those NOS 12ax7s you’ve been hoarding and now you’re really on to something special. Come on seriously, why are you still reading!? You need to be listening to your 1970s UK pressing of Sgt. Warm and Pleasant
I found my new Ortofon 2m Red to be a little bright when using my receiver's built in solid state phono preamp- I bought this preamp to see if the tube signal path would calm the brightness down. I was pleasantly surprised! My favorite tracks sound pleasantly warm and did not lose any musical texture. Very happy with this purchase.

Wow! Improvement in everything!
Compare to a built in preamp. But really it sounds much better, both levels and stereo feels much more vivid. One thing I would change is the location of the power button that is stuck under the output plugs and not so reacable. But still this is a great value for Money
