Solid Family Values
This was a gift for my daughter and my grandchildren. This was and still is today, a wonderful family show that is very entertaining and instills the best lessons in life, for all of us to learn and practice. The background narration is warm and compelling as are each of the characters portrayed by this assembly of talented actors. The stories are interesting and captivating, from one episode to the next, with writing that delivers an important life message every time. We enjoyed "The Waltons" when I was a young boy and again when my children were at a young age, so now it's time for our beautiful grandchildren to enjoy this great story that takes place on "Walton's Mountain", during a time when life was simpler and family meant so much.

The Waltons is a wonderful wholesome family series
I'm always looking for an excellent family entertainment. I purchased the entire Walton series. My family watched every single episode and grew to love the family. You cannot go wrong with The Waltons.

Enjoy going back in time to a simpler way of life
I love The Waltons TV show & am so happy that I can put in a DVD and watch it now any time that I want. So far, no bumps jumps or skips.

Perfect family series
Season one of the Waltons is a great start if you're not sure of purchasing the entire collection. We're introduced to the family and get a feel for Walton's mountain. It will draw you right in.

Nostalgia
I totally enjoy this tv series. Brings back memories of watching it with my children and then grandchildren. I wanted to have at least the first season to continue the tradition.

Waltons days gone past....
The Waltons is a great family show....has great life lessons and a lil history about that era great to watch with the grandkids and answer questions...and they will ask questions!!!

Happy Endings
Wonderful stories on "family life" during and after the Great Depression. Entertaining, relaxing, always leaves one with a good feeling at the end. (A pleasant experience when compared to some of the programs and movies of today!)
