great way to review history
Victoria Season 1 - love the pagentry, costumes, & architecture. Plus characters are wonderful Product came sealed and evidently new. No complaints about the condition. I enjoy this PBS program but had picked it up at the start of season 2. I now have the back story with Season 1.. It was so good I binged thorough all segments instead of making it last as the program is now on hiatus so have to wait until Season 4 to see any more of it. .

Wholesome family viewing.
Any history buff will find this interesting. It depicts the early adulthood of England's Queen Victoria. It highlights her ascension to the throne at age eighteen, at a time when Britain was the largest empire in the world holding colonies as far away as India and Australia. People would say "the sun never sets on the British Empire". It tells of her sound decisions despite pressure from those in government who thought of her as just a little girl. Anyone who enjoys stories about relationships, including romance will find this compelling and you"ll learn some English history as well.

HIstory of a great monarch
Wow, I loved this movie. Looking forward to getting the rest of the series. The story was very well done and followed much of what I have read in the history books.

Great history lesson
Before I saw this, the only thing I knew about Queen Victoria was the later part of her life when she was a bitter widow. Nice to see that she was really alive at one time. Can't wait for the Second Season. Casting is amazing. Costumes are breathtaking.

Victoria: First Season
Fell in love with Jenna Coleman as Clara in Doctor Who prompted me to watch and purchase this series I'm not sure if there is to be a Season 2 but it is wrapped up well enough to consider it a mini series if it does not continue Jenna performs her role as child Queen perfectly as she transitions to full power I loved the story and hope for a 2nd season I would Highly Recommend this Video

Victoria theFirst Season
This was an excellent purchase. I love period programs and this one kept my interest yet moved along more quickly than most series that I have watched in the past. I will definitely watch and season two and purchase at the end of season. Nothing bad about the product including price. Very reasonable!!!

My new favorite show.
Anyone who knows the story of Victoria and Albert will adore the detail and telling of their story to a whole new generation. Everyone else will be swept away with the love and struggle of young and beautiful queen learning how to rule a country in a world run by men.

DVD VICTORIA PBS MASTERPIECE
Truly one of the best I've seen. I am an OUTLANDER fan and we all know how excellent the story is. Well, the movie Victoria is also right up there in ALL aspects of GREAT movie watching... HIGHLY recommend to all.

Victoria on Masterpiece
AMAZING PROGRAM, however after receiving 2 sets of Season one, they both have factory issues. Episode 6 on disc 2 has a recording error causing skips and pauses very few seconds making it unwatchable.
