Kindle V7
The adds for recommended titles of books to buy are far more irritating than i expected... I recommend buying a model without adds or, as i did, begrudgingly paying Mr Bezos £10.00 for the privilidge of not seeing them. The version 7 Kindle I bought is not a 'paperwhite' and does not have an adjustable level of screen illumination. It's fine for reading in the daytime, but not in low light levels or at night. Although an older model, it's a very competent e-reader, and without the adds, about as simple as you can get for older readers who may have cognitive/Dementia issues. The best part and reason I bought it however is the ability to increase the font size of any book for the poorly sighted, as large print hardbacks or paperbacks are so difficult to come by. I am definitely not sorry I purchased this kindle, but would probably pay the extra for a paperwhite if buying again. At the moment in the UK, if you purchase a licence to view a book deposited in your library from Amazon or anyone else, it cannot be retracted. I am aware however of issues in the US where this has happened and am now looking at ebook management and .pdf conversion tools such as Calibre to protect my library. Best kindle to date.
Great kindle lightweight clear screen touchscreen user friendly. The battery life is very good.. perfect in sunshine. I read for many hours each day and the battery will last a week or more. Great little case with it too.

My first experience of buying reconditioned goods!
Wish I’d saved up for a new Kindle. The battery life isn’t too bad, but however long it’s on charge it can never make 100%. Scratches on casing acceptable, but the cable looks as though it’s been bitten by a cat!! My new kindle lasted 8 years but doubt this one will last one.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Great product
This is brilliant, i was skeptical about getting an e reader because i like the feel of having a book, but its a different experience, i find that i'm reading in more places than i usually would. I'm not keen on the adverts on the lock screen though.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Good ebook
