High Quality & Well Constructed
The Optichamber by Philips Respironics, is very well engineered, and made of high quality materials. I still am using the original one that is about 7 or 8 years old, and it still works fine. I bought a second one to have as a spare, should I lose the first one, or somehow it got damaged. Life Saver!!
This little unit has been extremely beneficial for me when I take my prescribed inhaler doses. Enables medicine delivery without getting the cotton mouth/dry throat conditions that I would normally experience without the use of the OptiChamber. Recommended by our pediatrician
We've been using this respirator since our pediatrician recommended it. It's easy to use, and they tend to last about a year with a child using it twice a day. (Eventually the little tabs holding the two chambers will break off, but after several months of being separated and put back together for cleaning twice a day by a child, I'm not disappointed.) Easy to use, works great
After many years of daily use a piece broke off my old Optichamber and the whistle alert no longer worked. The new design is a big improvement. It's smaller and seems to get more of the asthma medication into my airways. Also no medication buildup on the walls of the chamber. What A Difference
Bought this for my wife's "ProAir" inhaler, heard they helped make them work better. Since my wife has been using her Phillips holding Chamber her need for the inhaler has reduced since she is getting to use more of each dose. The chamber is simple, inexpensive and solid. Solid and quality product
This is a very good delivery method for inhalers, though I could see how it might not be for everyone. If you have COPD or have limited or impaled inhaling capabilities, it might be more difficult to inhale your medicines with the added resistance this device adds. Overall, the quality is solid and reliable.
