It works!
Just happy it works! The old one would freeze over and then water would drip out of the dispenser and leak onto the floor. I’ve only had this refrigerator for a year in a brand new house 😐

Good part,
Perfect fit and function, This however was not my ice making problem. Before replacing good parts, Run the diagnostic tests present in your refrigerator. This style ice maker rarely fails, The wiring controlling the ice maker was broken within its insulation at the bottom hinge of the freezer door. A difficult diagnosis. I had to replace the ice maker assembly because I took my old one apart and couldn't reassemble it properly. Check the wires where they bend at the bottom door hinge first.

Skip the hassle and replace it.
The original lasted about one year before skipping a tooth and destroying itself cycling. I attempted a repair but was to no use. Downloaded a service manual to attempt a reset again no use. Ordered this as a last resort and without having to do anything except removing and installing works. A full ice tray and no more complaining from the "peanut gallery".

Ice maker was perfect fit, just like original part. Took 10 minutes to install after watching a repair video online. There are 4 phillips head screws
Ice maker was perfect fit, just like original part. Took 10 minutes to install after watching a repair video online. There are 4 phillips head screws and 2 hex screws to remove. The unit has 2 electrical plugs to re-connect and align the wiring harness. It sure beat calling a repair service. My first time replacing one ever. A few hours later, I had ice cubes. Hopefully I never need to replace again, but if needed I would not hesitate to order from this E-Bayer.

Ice Maker for my Maytag works great. If someone is reading this and it's not making ice, I had to turn the freezer temp down to 2/5. The water spout in the door seemed like was getting frozen before filling the tray.

Perfect and easy replacement
Good replacement part. The design of the ice tray is faulty, they break, but the replacement is cheap and easy to install.

Replacement Ice Maker
The Ice Maker itself is made in China. It only lasts about 1 year. Will test this one. If the Freezer gets too Cold, Then it makes Banging noises.
