For the Boyajian family, Christmas has not been the same since their son was killed in the Gulf War. There has been no reason or desire to celebrate, but George, the father, decides that it's time to start being a family again. He picks up a lonely hitchhiker who he talks into pretending that he knew his dead son, in order to bring some warmth and humanity back into his house, but both George and his family have their faith and humanity restored in ways that none of them expected.

A Great Christmas movie that's about a lot more than Christmas
This is my all-time favorite "Christmas movie". It's not so much a movie about Christmas as it is about family values and family events in a small town. There are several storylines that everyone can relate to. The ending is incredibly touching and dramatic. Even knowing the ending, it chokes me up every time I watch it.

Title was spot on
Picture quantity was very grainy, out of focus in quite a few spots in the movie. Story line was good , acting seemed unconnected in several spots in the movie.

Simply the best !!
This is my favorite Christmas film. Saw it for the first time during the Holidays. Dean McDermott is so special. Do not underrate him as an actor.

Great Christmas Story for Everyone
This is a good Christmas story, has a lot of meaning and most of us can relate to things that happen in the movie with our own life experiences. Good portrayal of how life is in a small american town.

Watch miracles !
Awesome spiritual Christmas Movie ! I can relate to this as a Veteran . Old Soldiers never die they just fade away , which is inescapable with this fabulous 5 Star Hallmark movie !
