Outstanding Actors
This movie has it all. Excellent story/screenplay, excellent directing and excellent acting. Leonardo de Caprio definitely deserved his Best Actor Award......but, we are amazed that Tom Hardy did not receive Best Supporting Actor. We cannot get enough of Tom Hardy. He is completely different, in every aspect, in every one of his movies. This movie in Blu Ray was really beautiful. The forests, mountains, rivers, waterfalls.....all were magnificent in Blu Ray.. We also are fans of the early 70's "Man in the Wilderness" with Richard Harris and John Huston, so are now particularly pleased that each movie is so different. Now we can enjoy each one as a truly unique presentation altogether.

The Revenant
While the storyline of this movie has been done before, it has never been done with such beauty as this picture portrays. The direction and camera work of this movie is perfect. I'm still trying to figure out how the scenes that portray the bear attack were filmed. It was so realistic that I was still thinking about it a week after I saw the movie. It may not be the best movie that I have seen but it is without a doubt the most beautifully filmed movie that I have ever seen.

One of the Best Movies of the Year
This is a top quality movie. It's easy to see why it won oscars for lead actor and director. The outdoor filming was also excellent. If you like a good story, this is it.

A FEAST FOR THE EYES
I love this movie! One of the best, if not the best movie I've ever seen. Every scene is so breathtakingly shot. The depth and the grit of the characters is unmatched. What a performance by all! What a magnificent job of directing and cinematography. I will watch this again and again. Blu ray is the only way to see this movie in your own home.

An amazing film.
Leonardo Decaprio and Tom Hardy both won Oscars for their roles in this film. That pretty much says it all. It's an amazing film.

Majestic cinema
This movie is beautiful. Not just great acting, I highly encourage you to watch this on the largest tv in your house you will be surprised by the scenery.

The INTENCE bear attack scene is worth the cost of this movie.
This movie is awesome. DiCaprio is hard to recognize with the long hair,beard, and open wounds. I do not know how any human could keep going after ALL he endured. The effects in this movie are spectacular. The flying arrows will made you duck behind the chair. I watched this film on a 100 inch screen with surround sound. The movie was filmed in snow country, and I needed a blanket to wrap up in, as I could "feel" the freezing cold. A SUPER MOVIE...Highly recommended.

Marvel Collector!
I have it on DVD and a great movie as are all the other Marvel Comic movies!! A must have in blu ray as I have 85% blu and the others dvd's. All Marvel collectors would and will agree, blu ray is crisp and richer.

Amazing scenery
The events of the movie took place in the 1800s. The pace is somewhat slow but the scenery is simply fantastic. The bear attack clip is so real that will leave you uncomfortable to be in the woods by yourself...
