Lavishly packaged, this is the second volume in the series of rediscovered blues performances from 1962-1966. Between those years huge tours were undertaken by the likes of Howlin' Wolf, Willie Dixon, T-Bone Walker, Lightnin' Hopkins, and many others. A popular stop-gap on the tour was a small TV studio in Germany, where the acts would record their songs for posterity. It is from these shows that the recordings contained within are from. An amazing document of a historic time, rediscover these bluesmen in the flesh as they take to the stage in their prime.

Excellent series!
This completes my set of the 4 volumes. I highly recommend them to any traditional blues lover. It's great to see actual performances of artists you listened to for many years. The producers did a great job of cleaning up quite old videos and sound quality is excellent as well considering the age of the recordings.

SPECTACULARLY BRILLIANT BEYOND BELIEF, Thankx for sharing, PJEHAB RN
I have enjoyed music for 67 years .As a child my Father played the Harmonica. Sad we never filmed or recorded him. I , in my life experiences, have had pain & joy. I have been singing . dancing, & playing flute for 67 years. These Classic , Gifted, Blues men share their musical, physical, spiritual & emotional prowess so beautifully. I am in Love with many of these Blues masters, & their music ! This 2nd of 2 episodes of the "American Blues" from the 1960's in Germany is a spectacular gathering of these exceptionally gifted musicians. Such a Blessing that the foresight occurred to record & film this event. I watch & sing along with my 2 DVD's nightly, after my farming, gardening & other chores are finished for the day.
