Zyxel NWA50ax Pro not the easiest to setup but good performance
I bought this Zyxel NWA50ax Pro to extend the wifi coverage in an old stone built home which has very thick walls throughout. We also have 900Mb fibre to the home. The reason I have not given it 5 stars is because it wasn't the easiest access point to setup and I would say I am quite IT experienced. It was pre-registered on the Cloud Nebula system and I wanted to use it in stand alone mode. It took a few attempts having downloaded the free Nebula app to get the access point released from the Nebula Cloud control to stand alone mode accessible locally. Once setup it was connected by Ethernet to the main router. It performed well and got about 600Mb using a speed test on my Chromebook in the same room. I have had it for a couple of weeks and have had no issues with drop outs or any performance issues. I now have a four of these units across the three storey home and we have good coverage throughout.
