Beautiful 80s Animation
Beautiful 80s animation at its finest. An absolutely gorgeous adaptation of the first part of the long running manga. Characters are well drawn and in a unique style that is basically unseen anywhere else. The mecha are incredibly detailed for their admittedly short appearances. While it was never continued past this point and as such some plot points aren't followed up on if you haven't read the manga. That being said it makes for a great watch even if you haven't read the manga at all.
