The price is actually pretty good, if we consider the production status of this item's series. Seller was also profesionnal and curteous in their communications (although, I did not reply, since I did not have any specific needs to voice up.) Overall, a satisfying purchase.

    This guy is a superb absolute supreme seller. My package was stuck in customs then denied and sent back due to a battery issue. He had already known about the issue and despite the timezone differences the communication was absolutely superb. The second time shipped DHL express was used and oh my lord were the super fast! Im talking 2 days fast!!! If you ever need to by anything off ebay you should definitely use this guy! My item was packaged amazingly bubble wrapped inside a box. Amazing!!!!!!

    Excellent experience with store_sakaguchi. I bought a Nikon AI-S PC 28mm f/3.5 lens, communication with the seller was fast and courteous, item was shipped promptly and arrived via DHL several days before the originally forecast delivery date. The item itself is in very good condition, very clean, 100% functional, as good as it looked in the many pictures in the item's listing, even better than expected. Would definitely do business with this excellent ebay seller again.

    The SP-38 is a great addition to the IC-7300

    The IC-7300 has an excellent top mounted internal speaker but the SP-38 external speaker is a wonderful addition to my IC-7300. The SP-38 makes a noticeable difference because the speaker is pointing out towards you and the sound quality is excellent. As you can see in the photo it's a perfect match with the IC-7300. Underneath the SP-38 is a pull out stand which the IC-7300 also has. I'm extremely satisfied and have no regrets and highly recommend this product.

    Good Sound

    I heard reports saying this speaker is not much better than the speaker in the radio, only that this speaker faces you. Not true, there is a noticeable difference in sound quality, wider spectrum and much clearer then the stock radio speaker. If you have both 9700 & 7300 don't piggyback to one speaker, it will reduce sound quality. I bought two speakers.

    So-So matching speaker. Looks good.

    The speaker works fine as designed. I was expecting it to be more low - mid frequency audio. It's only slightly better than the built-in speaker on the IC-7300 radio for which I bought it. I think the money could be better spent on a higher end speaker. At least it matches the radio, so I'll keep it and maybe do some internal mods to help take out the hash noise. I don't recommend if you're looking to improve audio quality. I don't believe the value is there for audio quality. Rather, it just matches the radio. The quality in terms of construction is fine, but not functionality for audio.

    Great Speaker

    You can hear with this speaker as well or better than a headset. I have not used my headset since I got the speaker. It makes a world of difference on hear weak signals. Great buy!!!!

    over rated for the brand

    If you want consistency in the look of your 7300 station, great but the speaker is way too tinny and only amplifies radio hash
