The End of the Story? Or just closing the window.
I had watched and gotten all 3 seasons of "The Newsroom" and I can honestly say that this is the finest piece of HBO television I have enjoyed. The First season captured my imagination and interest, the second deepened it, and the Final season closed the window into this amazing series. It clearly focused your attention on how News is Captured, Packaged and Delivered to the consumer, and how it was critically important to find a Honest source. One that clearly separated it's content from it's opinions. In this strongly divided country, more important then ever, it is key to understand the motives and the honesty of the people who deliver "the News".

Love the Newsroom!
Such a bummer this ended with 3 seasons. Fast paced and smart! Some of the best character development ever. I mean these are your friends and family and you become attached and even learn from them. If you want something without dazzling effects and enjoy depth and intelligence from a show you will LOVE this!

Too bad
It is too bad they did not continue with this series. I realllly thought it was great. It is toooo bad that there was not a blu ray set combo, this does not jive with the first two seasons. Miss match city....yuck.

Riveting from beginning to end
This series got some pretty scathing reviews when it was airing on HBO. I don't understand any of them. My wife and I feel that this is one of the best tv type programs that we've ever seen. On every front. Entertaining, provocative, well written, well executed!!!

Wonderful Series....
I think Donald Trump should stand to watch this. It shows how the news is accurately reported and how cable news networks cannot just report "fake news." It shows how they painstakely check sources before reporting the news. Plus Jeff Daniels, San Waterston and Jane Fonda are wonderful together. Two thumbs up!

A {re}view from fly-over country
This was a superior series which opened my eyes to the pressure of putting on a nightly news tv broadcast .I'm sorry it ended after only three seasons !!!

Appropriate
The problem with this series is the longevity...... It was plagued, to begin with, and by the time the third season rolled around it was cut short. Too bad... Could've been another West Wing.

The Newsroom - Incredible
I first saw this show through one clip on YouTube - the opening of the first show and I was hooked. I purchased all three seasons and when I was done, I wished for more.
