Before Batman
I've watched this show from the beginning, and it has gotten better with each season. I was disappointed to find out that next years season 5 will be the last season. The cast of characters to me is spot on. The Penguin, Mooney, Riddler, Selena Kyle, all excellent, even James Gordon and Harvey Bullock play such good cop bad cop. It's worth the money to get the whole series.

Gotham Season 1 = Winner!
Terrific characters! Unlike many modern movies where you wind up wishin even the good guys would meet their waterloo, in addition to rooting for good to triumph over evil I actually found myself feeling sorry for that deviuos despicable Penguin! Also, I found very little opportunity to sleep to this series! Truly agreat series!

Gotham:The Complete First Season
I got hooked on this series by accident, but my work schedule caused me to miss some shows. All rectified now This is a GREAT series, albeit quite violent. It is essentially the telling of the Batman story in an organized crime narrative. Bruce Wayne is a teenager whose parents were murdered, and he sets out to find our why. Those of you expecting men in capes and the Batmobile will be sorely disappointed, but if you enjoy a well crafted crime drama full of twists and surprises, you'll love it. Give it a shot.

Great New Series
I wasn't sure when they first announced this series if I would care for it. I figured they did Smallville and it would be the same. It is a very dark series and quit violent at times, but that is the way the original Batman comics were. Not the 60's version with Adam West. Am waiting for the next season to start.

Gotham the Birth of a legacy
In my opinion the first season is the most thrilling, I thought the character development was done with absolute brilliance. I hated for an episode to end and couldn't wait for another one too start. The plot twists were never-ending and kept me on the edge of my seat, with each episode.

Pre-Batman from Jim Gordon's perspective
Most known villains and hereos in this adaptation are still children, and I find that frustrating. But, the episode stories move well and you are introduced to lesser and unknown characters. There is plenty of action and thrills and development of characters, who generally stay true to the original comic books. Enjoyable and somewhat addictive.

Gotham Season 1
Wow. What a surprise series. It is excellent and has lots of twists and turns. I read comics in the 1960s and the storyline falls right into place.
