The MFJ 259C SWR RF Analyzer works for frequencies between 530 kHz and 230 MHz. With this device, you can read complex impedance values as reactance and series resistance or phase and magnitude. It can be used to read return loss or reflection coefficient at all frequencies. The device has a built-in battery-saving function, and it has a low-battery warning indicator. MFJ 259C Antenna Analyzer
The 259C is an outstanding antenna analyzer. MFJ has developed a quality product that should be an integral part of every ham shack, especially if you build your own antennas. For a long time, I borrowed a friends analyzer when working on projects. I'm glad to finally have one of my own. The 259C has multiple options such as calculating the length of a coax, or the distance to a break in your feed line. I can't say enough about this tool. no more guessing

MFJ259C review
It is a good tool for the antenna and RF guy. Sometime the needles oscillates a bit without moving the instrument neither coupling it to any external device, perhaps is a false contact internally at a rotary switch?
