Once the telescope is set up, the remote makes it easy to find nearly any object you might want to look see or discover!
The Autostar remote operated as expected. There were two issues though that bear mentioning: 1) The red plastic lens / window at the top of the remote was missing and the warning when the remote is turned on is annoying in that you can't bypass it until a certain amount of the message has played. There may be a setting that I haven't found yet but until then, it's a problem.

Great Item,
Very happy with the Autostar Controller. It works well with my older Meade 4504 scope. It looks like brand new and was well worth the purchase price for a quality item.

Autostar review
Product worked as described. Cable was a little frayed, but hey, its used. A little electrical tape and Velcro and everything's good.

Very good tech.
It will find stars and planets for you, which is pretty cool. The only problem with it is that you must unplug it from the power supply and reprogram the controller each time you use it.

Exactly as described
The product came quickly and exactly as described. It still didn't work but at least that gives me a better idea that the telescope side of the controller is the problem.

Works as designed
I bought the controller to replace the one I had that was not working properly. This replacement controller worked as designed and as any one that one may acquire on the internet.
