THESE BOOKS BRING BACK A PIECE OF HISTORY OF HOW THE MOUNTAIN PEOPLE LIVED AND SURVIVED.A PIECE OF OUR HISTORY SOON TO BE LOST. ALSO LESSONS ON HOW TO LIVE OFF THE GRID. MANY MAY BE INTERESTED IN THIS PAST WISDOM. I PURCHASED THESE BOOKS IN THE 70'S AND NEVER FORGOT THE KNOWLEDGE CONTAINED IN THEM. I WAS EXCITED O SEE I COULD STILL GET THE ORGINALS. I RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY!

It's a great store of knowledge. It's how things were done by pioneers and their children and grandchildren, how things were done before electricity, which we might want to brush up on.
