Very entertaining and interesting sci Fi...
Very entertaining and interesting sci Fi movie based on an awesome Japanese anime.starring Scarlett Johansson who is very good in her interpretation of this character,no spoilers,set in future Japan police officer tracks down and eliminate any renegade androids,kind of similar to Harrison Ford blade runner.even if you never saw the anime it's worth a look.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Smoldeting Garbage
I'm a fan of the works of Japanese writer/artist Masamune Shirow since the mid nineteen eighties and have also enjoyed works of media based on Shirow's original ideas and concepts but, honestly and technically speaking, Rupert Sanders is simply not a very good filmmaker.... Wait, let me rephrase that;Rupert Sanders is not a very good STORY TELLER. All flash, flash and absolutely ZERO substance. He decided up front to remove the story concepts that made Ghost in the Shell such an enduring, cross cultural success in an attempt, I guess, to make it more action oriented? WOW! Words don't escape me, but I'm going to end here because I don't want this to end up reading like a rant and I would like to be more comprehensive in my review of this movie but I just dont think its worth the time and effort. Suffice it to say, Rupert Sanders needs more experience and maybe a mentor to reign in his thinking sometimes. It's too late for Michael Bay, but Sanders' career is still young.
