A treasure
This movie was made on Mackinac Island, a historic and charming US village where cars have been banned since the 1890s, a locale that Pence decided to trash with his motorcade of gas guzzlers. The video was part of the healing process to help me put aside the insult that the disgusting clowns heap daily upon real people. The extra materials are most rewarding. We learn about Chris Reeves before and after his accident, about the hypnotism angle of time travel, that allowed the story to sidestep having a machine, and some insights into the photographic and cinematographic magic that went into the production. It also showed insight into Jane Seymour's selection for female lead. The movie is pretty good. The social, historical, and creative context of the movie are the real treasures. Glad I bought it.

The beat travel in time love story I’ve ever seen.
Two great performances that will last forever somewhere in time. A true classic that i will watch yearly till i die. So romantic and performed with true love as if it really happened. It will leave you feeling drained emotionally but with great joy in the end of it. Worth every cent i payed and will treasure it in my collection. One of my top 3 of all my collections and perhaps my number one. A+++++

Romantic movie going back in time!
I really like this movie and was happy to find the dvd at a good price. It is a romantic, daydream movie for people that would like to step back in time. The actor and actress are two of my favorite stars.

Have watched it twice and plan to watch it again in near future.
This movie is perhaps the best done by Christopher Reeves. His acting skills were highlighted by convincing displays of emotion unlike his other movies. The story is quite complicated and keep the viewers attention until the end.

Somewhere in Time
Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymour are main characters in the movie. She first shows up as an old woman, looking for her first true love. And finds him at a graduation party. 5 years later he finds her portrait in a hotel, and falls in love with her. Then Christopher quest begins to be with the woman he loves. It is a rare sad romantic movie-that should be on everyone s shelf. For that special someone to watch with.

1980's playwright falls in love with a picture of a beautiful woman from 1912.
This is absolutely THE BEST love story EVER! Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour: perfect!! The beautiful, haunting musical score - written by the late John Barry will remain in your heart and head forever. Totally entrancing and unforgettable. Be sure you buy the anniversary collection DVD. Wonderful, informational story of how SIT came to be. Five Hundred Stars..........

Priced right
The DVD was of good quality, and arrived quickly. The movie itself is a "chick flick" and not at all what I expected. No time travel science involved, and poor ending. Worth the few dollars, but not a good movie.

A Classic Film.
I recently visited the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island and wanted to see the movie since it was filmed there. A sad but sweet love story.

Classic old love story
Being an older movie, it moves a bit slowly, but I liked it nonetheless. Seller very quickly mailed it to me.

Romantic and heart wrending
Loved watching this with my wife. The two main characters had a deep, intense and brief love connection. The ending almost broke my heart, but realizing that the deep encounter lasted them a life time made it understandable.
