It was well packaged, but I would suggest using packing peanuts or inflatable packaging in addition to the other wrapping to protect the glass. The item is as described. There is a small defect near the top of the globe which is visible in the seller's images. I didn't really notice this until I got it. This was a good value and I would recommend the seller.

USPS left the package at a side door of my house, where the box got rained on and was drenched. However the items were wrapped in bubble wrap and there was so much paper in the box that they were perfectly dry! Great photos and description. They look even better in person.
