Outstanding homage to classic westerns by a giant of genre
"Unforgiven " is one of these films that establish a landmark on its genre not only because of the talent or technical achievement on cinematographic craftmanship. It's very difficult to understand it apart from the big name in the credits roll. Clint Eastwood pays the ultimate homage to the genre that gave him worldwide recognition, and it's easy to track references to "Josey Wales", "Pale Rider", "High Plains Drifter" or the expeditive anti-hero from his early roles at Sergio Leone's classic trilogy. The emotionally driven plot about a bunch of outcasts seeking justice after the abuse of corrupt autority, and a profound and poetic reflection of violence serve as frame of outstanding performances in the mesmerizing landscape of wild west, proving with a sense of nostalgia and gratitude that western is -perhaps- the most noble genre at cinema story.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
