The controller showed absolutely no signs of wear and connected to my switch with no issues. Everything is exactly as the listing described. I'm keeping this seller in mind if I want more Pro controllers or Joy-Cons.

Could not get controller to sync to my 3 switches so I went to Best Buy & bought 1 and noticed that the Best Buy 1 had seals on the ends of the box, which this 1 did not. also the way the cord was bundled inside was different vs. the 1 from Best Buy. also there was a piece of film over the charging port area on the Best Buy 1 that wasn't present on this 1. I knew there was a reason why it was so cheap.

However, within 24 hours of me filing a claim, the seller responded, and the item showed up in USPS tracking system a state or two away from the seller, so the error may have been on the postal services end.
