Easy-peezie
no extensive technical knowledge was required to make the the unit operational. Just some patience and knowledge of the peculiarities of an N Scale train. N Scale trains are very unforgiving and it helps to use track accessories that connect without having to be a genius at making the train work properly. Won't wwork on dc systems
I operate a dc system and needed a turnout switch that redirects current to the selected track and disconnects the track not selected, Bachmann turnouts used to do so.
