Authentic Welsh Scandi-Noir
As an Englishman 12 years living in the Welsh-speaking part of Wales not far from Aberystwyth and the stunning area ("Hinterland") behind it, I can thoroughly recommend this series. Not only gripping in its own right, but reminds us that Wales is a Foreign Country- very close to England, but with subtle differences in culture and attitudes, and this series is absolutely authentic- this is the real West Wales. Come and see us- take it slow,look, watch and listen, and a culture and way of life thousands of years in the making will whisper to you.

Season Two continues in quality...
Great story-telling and wonderful landscapes are the features here, with restrained acting that gives the whole show a wonderful, yet haunting quality.
